Questions buyers ask before RFQ
What should I confirm before requesting a PPGI quotation?
Provide RAL or color sample, paint system, GI or GL substrate coating mass, thickness, width, surface (smooth/matte/wrinkle), protective film need, quantity, application, and destination port.
Can you supply RAL colors and control color difference?
RAL and sample-match requests can be reviewed with the paint system. State ΔE or visual acceptance limits on the RFQ when color-critical panels are required.
What is the difference between PPGI and PPGL?
PPGI is pre-painted on a galvanized (zinc) substrate. PPGL is pre-painted on a galvalume (Al-Zn) substrate. Confirm substrate type, metallic coating mass, and paint system before quotation.
Is protective film available?
Protective film can be discussed when forming, handling, or export packing requires extra surface protection.
What affects PPGI coil price?
Color, paint system and film build, substrate coating, thickness, surface effect, quantity, packing, and freight all influence quotation.
