Overview
PPGL DX52D combines an Al-Zn coated substrate with a factory-applied paint system for roll-formed building-envelope components. The RFQ should identify the accepted forming grade, metallic coating designation, primer and topcoat system, RAL color or approved sample, gloss or texture, back coat, and any protective film. Coating names alone do not define suitability for every climate, so include the project location, coastal or industrial exposure, panel design, and expected forming route. State total coated thickness basis, width, tolerance, coil ID, maximum coil weight, quantity, and destination port. If the coil will become roofing sheet, attach the profile drawing and effective cover width. MTC, paint or coating records, color acceptance, packing, and inspection scope are agreed with the purchase order.
Product scope
- Al-Zn substrate and paint system are specified as separate layers
- Color, forming route, climate exposure, and packing are reviewed together
