Overview
Electro-galvanized sheet is selected for smooth surface quality, controlled coating, and downstream painting or precision fabrication. It follows a different coating route from hot-dip GI, so buyers should not substitute the two by name alone. State SECC, DC51D+ZE, or the project grade together with its governing standard and electro-zinc coating designation. Include thickness, width, cut length, flatness, surface treatment, quantity, destination port, and the stamping, painting, or joining operation. Fingerprint-resistant, oiled, or phosphated conditions are agreed with the downstream process. MTC, coating data, inspection, interleave or film, bundle limits, and export packing are confirmed from the RFQ and purchase order. For a comparable quotation, separate the sheet identity from buyer-controlled inputs, note the visible-surface side, and state whether the downstream line requires blanking, bending, welding, or paint preparation. Any tolerance, coil or pack limit, and acceptance sample should be recorded against the same order reference.
